Following on to the debt trainee internship which I completed earlier in 2017, I was placed as Trainee Debt Adviser in organisations working under the MAS contract. I was initially placed placed in a busy advice agency in Southwark where I advised clients in the office and in outreach sessions. I completed my placements in a Law Centre in Croydon which now employs me directly.

I was placed in the grants department of a national charity. I reviewed and assessed grants applications from individuals, liaised with referral agencies and applied for external grants.

Worked as freelance translator on a part-time basis since 2001, for agencies and direct clients, specialising in translation of legal documents.I translate asylum decisions,documents related to asylum claims, court decisions and pleadings, official correspondence (maintenance orders, parental responsibility), extracts from legislation, contracts, company policies and guidelines. Other areas of interest are social policy and sports (especially distance running, athletics and triathlon).
