I am currently working at Burwell Technologies as Corporate Sales representative. In my role, I aim to support our corporate customers by any means necessary in order to increase their productivity on site, and ensure projects are completed on schedule.As well as the corporate customers, I also have my area in Sydney that I cover. In addition to this, I wanted to put my teaching skills to use, so I am about mid-way through creating a training presentation for all new sales staff.

As travelling is a passion of mine, I was lucky enough to be able to take a 6 month break from work to do some volunteering and travelling around the world. I had the pleasure of working with children in Uganda in various different areas. These included coaching soccer to a group of young men as well as introducing them to oztag, and helping out at a centre for children with disabilities. I also visited various orphanages and slums where I was able to help to feed and play with the children, as well as repair beds for the unfortunately over crowded orphanage.

Taught key stage 3 and 4 at Harlington school in the Hounslow borough. My area is biology, but I am also quite confident with teaching physics.

As the warehouse and logistics manager, I managed a small group of people with the intent of having all goods reach our branches and customers on time and in full. I managed all stock movements, in and out of the warehouse with the aim of ensuring efficient and timely receipt and despatch of goods in a cost friendly manner. Part of my role was purchasing materials that were essential in the manufacturing of the product, as well as parts that were vital for our on going service. This included local and overseas purchasing, and dealing with the shipping companies to ensure goods were delivered on time. I monitored pricing and negotiated agreements with suppliers based on sales trends and forecasts. I also worked closely with inventory by monitoring stock orders to branches to ensure they were not overstocked. I also had input into the Burwell price book and aided in creating effective procedures and structures for the implementation of the ISO9001 status.
