Served as the subject matter expert for advancing sustainable emerging mobility and traffic safety, while pursuing funding for a variety of transportation projects. In this role, I worked closely with multi-disciplinary teams and help build partnerships and support a broad spectrum of transportation programs and operations.

Managed the e-scooter permit program and shared-mobility pilots for the City of San José and helped design the City's data solution to enable planning and effective enforcement of shared-mobility regulations. As the City's shared micro-mobility manger, I was responsible for developing pilots to help e-scooter companies meet permit conditions, exceed safety standards, and test new vehicles and applications based on teleoperation and AV technologies. At the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, I developed the city's first Sidewalk Autonomous Delivery Pilot, securing funding and enabling business and equity-based applications. This pilot has been replicated in other cities in the US through the Knight AV Initiate. Today, Sidewalk Delivery Robots are serving a broad spectrum of residents and businesses in San José, including low-income communities.
