Assurance Partner in Financial Services, audit and advising clients in financial institutions (banking, asset management and insurance), in particular in retail and private banking, trading, regulatory work

In this role, I managed a diverse team of more than 40 partners and 800 professionals in our Swiss Financial Services Practice providing assurance, consulting, tax & legal as well as transaction services to our financial services clients. I worked closely with our clients to build a financial services industry in which financial institutions are trusted.

I led as Chief Risk Officer our Quality & Risk Management Practice and I was responsible to build up our enterprise wide risk management radar for our regular risk assessment.

I led our Swiss Professional Practice responsible for Quality and Training in Financial Servies. I worked directly with our global professional practice network and with audit teams on technical audit and accounting matters and interacted with the accounting and financial services regulators in Switzerland.

As Chairman of the Regional Partner Forum, I chaired the Partner Sounding Board for our European Financial Services Practice with 600 partners and 12’000 professionals. In this position I was also Member of the Area Partner Governance Council for the Area Europe, Middle East, India & Africa and from 2012 to 2015 with over 3'000 partners and 50'000.

eyI worked as deputy of our Area professional practice director responsible for Europe, Middle East, India and Africa. I was responsible for building up our readiness for inspections by local independent audit regulators.
