As Chairman of EY Switzerland and Senior Audit Partner, I am proud to work alongside EY Switzerland’s 160 partners and 2’900 people and serve our largest financial services clients.Prior to my appointment as Chairman, I have led the Swiss Financial Services Organization, a diverse team of over 800 professionals. Throughout my 29-year career in professional services, I have provided assurance and consulting services to leading financial services in Switzerland and major financial services centers including two years in New York. I have worked with many boards, audit and risk committees and senior management to resolve complex business issues. I have served as the Global Client Service Partner and Senior Audit Partner to many of EY Switzerland’s largest international and local financial clients.As honorary professor and lecturer at the University of St.Gallen, at the Institute for Accounting, Controlling and Auditing (ACA), responsible for financial services, I have the privilege to teach students in all areas of the Accounting profession, including accounting, auditing, sustainability reporting, risk management and compliance. I received my Master and PhD from the University of St.Gallen. Prior to studying at the University, I have worked at a Swiss Cantonal Bank for eight years.
