Welcome to the University of St.Gallen (HSG)! Within the HSG we are a Competence Cluster for Accounting, Controlling, Auditing, Corporate Governance and Performance Measurement.
Our Research and Education is driven by developments as the globalization of Financial Markets and business activities, an increasingly sophisticated and complex tool set for Managerial Control as well as the rising number of Internal and External Stakeholders companies need to address. Our role within these dynamics and subject-matters is to serve as a Competence Center and Transfer Platform of Knowledge for Research, Education and Practice.
Together with other Institutes of the University of St.Gallen we offer the Master's programme in Accounting and Finance, MAccFin. This programme aims at providing students with a sophisticated and state of the art preparation for Financial Management Tasks in Corporations or in Advisory.
For experienced practitioners we offer several programmes of Executive Education.
Our Institute also provides Advisory Services and Professional Opinion for Corporations or Public Institutions.
