I am a general manager and senior public affairs executive with more than 30 years’ experience in delivering lasting outcomes across the private sector, governments and international organisations in both Australia and Europe.I am known for my leadership in navigating the interface between government and industry. For the past 15 years, I have worked for the Australian poultry meat industry, first as head of the national industry association and more recently for Ingham’s, the largest company in this sector.I enjoy projects involving technical information, strategic business needs and the interaction with people from a range of organisations and different backgrounds. The Cooperative Research Centres (CRC) Program, whose establishment I led in the early 1990s, is a testament to the great economic potential of sustainable public private partnerships and a highlight of my career.
