DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Responsible for the implementation of the business plans of the Hotel which include the following:2. Policy and targets to achieve3. Strategic promotion of services4. Public relations with corporate accounts, Public Services, Government and Semi Government institutions and organized groups.5. Preparation of budget and projected income.6. Has very good knowledge of the Legislation and regulations of 1985-2005, and any other amendments covering the operation of Hotels.7. Manages all the personnel, interviewing, employment, salaries and benefits, evaluation and training and has very good knowledge of the Cyprus Labour Law.8. Approves and monitors the debtors and the collections and plans the cash flow projections of the Hotel.9. Evaluates and approves the suppliers.10. Evaluate and approve the purchase of the equipment, machinery of the hotel 11. Has very good knowledge of all the Hotel’s installations and equipment and ensures for the smooth maintenance. 12. Approves all the purchases of the Hotel.13. Ensures the implementation of controls in relation with food safety regulations.14. Acts as Food & Beverages Manager, in charge of the kitchen, waiters, café & bar, restaurant, seminars, costing and preparation of tenders, purchases and store.15. Has very good knowledge of the Hotel’s computer network, main server, wi-fi, copier, fax, PCs, and offer technical assistance on 24 hours basis.16. Has very good knowledge of MS office applications (word, excel, power point).17. Has very good knowledge of the Hotel’s software18. Ensures the implementation of the rules and legislation of Health and Safety 1996-2011.19.
