Provided ergonomics support to companywide nuclear generating stations. Developed the foundation of a corporate ergonomics program to be implemented at all nuclear sites. Responsible for specifying requirements of the program, scheduling and allocating tasks and developing corporate procedures for the program. Performed industrial assessments concentrating on job design and the evaluation of workspaces. Involved in the development and implementation of the Employee Participation Back Injury Prevention Pilot Program at Darlington Nuclear. Fully managed the program and performed all training to shift employees as well as to management. Provided full support to any initiatives that arose from the employee training sessions.

Instrumental in initiating ergonomics awareness within the organization. Developed and implemented the foundation of an ergonomics program and managed program initiatives. Engineered an ergonomics intranet website to supply employees with rapid access to ergonomics information and guidelines. Performed both laboratory and office assessments focusing on job and workstation design, physical demand analysis and the evaluation of environmental factors. Developed and delivered general ergonomic and office ergonomic training courses.

Provided ergonomics support to company wide mine and surface operations. Performed a variety of assessments including job evaluation and design, workstation design, physical demands analysis and environmental assessments of noise, temperature and air contaminants.
