I am currently employed at Ambu A/S as a manager for the AI development team. The teams vision, is to apply deep learning techniques to enhance Ambu's endoscopy portfolio, by improving workflow and patient care.My previous role at Ambu A/S was as a image processing engineer, being responsible of the Ambu's image processing.I have previously worked at DTU SPACE as a Post Doc with a strong focus on image analysis and processing. My work have primarily been associated with the DTU star camera system, which has led to work on international projects (NASA,ESA) on missions operating at Earth, Mars, Saturn and Jupiter. Due to the vast distances between the ground station and the spacecraft’s, these missions have all shared the need for autonomous real-time operation. These unique challenges have brought extensive experience in optimization and real-time programming, a skill-set that can be directly translated into other fields. The common limitation on computational resources, have further strengthened the view for intelligent and strategic programming.While my primary competencies are as a software engineer, my background as a Master of Electrical Engineering, have provided a fundamental understanding of electrical and optical system. This interdisciplinary skill has previously proven helpful in the discussions between the electrical, optical and software engineers, and in general supported communication in the company. Furthermore it adds an understanding of the instruments trade-offs and limitations, which can support design decisions.My primary ambition is to work at a company that has a solid foundation within research and development, where I will be able to shape the work and the solutions. The essential for me are; strong teamwork, creative workspace and potential for personal development.As a person I am very solution oriented and have a strong ambitious for creating value and to ensure quality in the solutions that I deliver.
