My job as part of Sales team includes several tasks:- Welcome and provide accurate information to visitors and guests;- Manage tickets and bookings sales;- Manage procedures related to Lost & Found and confiscated properties;- Promote retail items, exhibitions, memberships and special offers;- Carry out team leading activities;- Perform cashing up activities;- Perform reception activities;- Manage cloakrooms;- Patrol galleries and queue management.These tasks are meant to offer a high quality experience to visitors and to maximize the income for the museum.Between March and December 2016 I led on regular basis the “David Attenborough’s Great Barrier Reef Dive” Virtual Reality Show welcoming and helping customers, taking care of their needs, checking the equipment and performing ordinary maintenance operations, so to ensure the success of the show and the overall pleasantness of the experience.
