I'm a serial/parallel entrepreneur looking for adventure!In 2010 I co-founded the industrial design company MAIK (maik.co) along with the designer Rune Rex. We designed, produced and distributed our own life-improving products and opened a shop in Copenhagen. In Spring 2013 MAIK founded the innovative bicycle accessories brand The Bike Crate. The core product was a series of bicycle baskets for urban commuters. In early 2012 I took on a challenge to create a 6 weeks app development course. For this purpose I put together an app development method that took the students through all the major aspects of app development. I successfully ran this course for a year and a half.In late 2012 I co-founded the upcycling furniture company BASTARD that designed and produced sustainable furniture from already existing industrial products that would otherwise have been discarded. BASTARD quickly gained traction and was featured in various magazines. After selling a decent amount of furniture we decided to end the project.In the beginning of 2013 I co-founded the association Bastard Festival – a two-day-celebration on the theme of upcycling, remixing & sustainability. We managed to get €100,000 in funding and the festival was held in Helsinor city, Denmark.Early 2014 I co-founded an app company CHEF CHEF: a casual recipe sharing app targeted for the personal cooking experience. More than 3,000 recipes have been created on CHEF CHEF by more than 5,000 users.Late 2014 I co-founded another app company: TIMBAGO – a marketplace app for clothing. We secured a seed round of €335,000 and more than 1,000 shops registered on TIMBAGO. I exited to start another company. Late 2015 I co-founded the telco Plenti. In Plenti we successfully merged mobile telephony and digital content – and we were the first in Denmark to offer an unlimited data package. Plenti was acquired by TDC in a planned exit. Late 2017 I joined Too Good To Go as investor and COO (and CDO). The company was on the brim of moving from start-up to scale-up, and during my time it hit hyper growth and scaled from 6 countries to 11. Too Good To Go has since launched in the US and is spreading the food waste revolution everywhere. Early 2019 I co-founded the podcast & audiobook platform Podimo. We've helping creators monetise the content and bring great stories to everyone!
