Responsible for all operational aspects of the business, including: -Performance management of a team of 11 trust and custody professionals, -Creation of and ongoing improvement of operational policy and process manuals to support the core business, -Canadian tax reporting for both registered and non-registered accounts, -US Internal Revenue Service withholding tax reporting (Qualified Intermediary regime), and management of supporting client documentation -Operational risk managment and development of key risk indicators, -Development of new business, specifically in the corporate trust and custody market, -Compliance with Canadian anti-money laundering legislation, -System implementations and upgrades, and -Development of management reporting.Nominated for HSBC's President's Award in 2007 for outstanding performance.

Winner of HSBC's President's Award for outstanding performance in 2002 and appointed a member of the President's Counsel.

Management of a trust section, providing exemplary service to estate and trust clients on immediately distributable estates, ongoing trusts and agency accounts. Book of business included estates and trusts from Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia.

Liaison between tax, investment, legal and other specialists and clients to provide efficient, effective estate and trust administration for estates in Ontario, Quebec and the Maritime provinces. Special duties include project management, training, investment communications to clients, and administration of all escrow accounts.
