Andre Brik is a multi-entrepreneur, writer, consultant specialist, and pioneer of remote and flexible work.André has researched and lived flexible work since 2003. He has written six books on remote work and home-based entrepreneurship which he co-authored with his wife, journalist Marina Sell Brik, which include titles such as, As 100 Dicas do Home Office (2011) the first book in Portuguese on the topic, Trabalho Portátil (2013), the first to organize a complete dossier on remote work in Brazil, and Beyond Remote (2020) about the future of work in the post-pandemic.André also created GoHome, the first Brazilian content portal about working from home, which since 2006 has been helping hundreds of thousands of entrepreneurs to start their home-based businesses for free.André Brik is also the founder and Director of Instituto Trabalho Portátil, a company he coordinates and develops projects and content for training virtual leaders and remote teams. ITP operates at a national level and is currently the leading flexible work consultancy in Brazil. ITP serves companies from various sectors such as The Walt Disney Company Brasil, Microsoft, Localiza, Hitachi, Votorantim, Albert Einstein Hospital, Basf, Copersucar, Vivo, Banco Original, Zurich, Unimed and Africa / DDB, among others. Andre was also one of the creators and founding members of FlexWork Hub, a discussion and information exchange group with the world's most prominent specialists in flexible work.Graduated in Architecture, Brik studied Graphic Design at the School of Visual Arts - NY, has an MBA in Marketing and Communication, worked many years at the advertising business and has a carrer as a Graphic Artist.
