- Responsibility of the factory engineering, combining investment implementation, process improvements, project analysis and new product development;- Implementing yearly capex as well to propose the following year one. Definition of the department strategy and yearly objectives;- Definition of controlling and reporting tools and definition of KPI's.

- Responsibility to supervise a team of 8 technicians and a back-office assistant;- Responsible to manage the maintenance for the full factory machinery park, assuring the right equipment availability.

- Scheduling and coordination of all in house and third party production activities, with an internal team of around 30 people; - Continuous improvement studies that allowed to reduce significantly our production cost as well our lead time. Implementation of Toyota way principles, by working with cells concept and applying several Lean tools;- Responsible for the implementation of a production management software (MANUFACTOR), from a design phase to “live” production.

- Coordination of the optical fibre production cell, with the main task of optimize the Unit, working through new production processes and equipment upgrade;- Performed a full study of the production capacity installed, related with equipment and people utilization.
