Andrei Dita has more than 5 years of experience as a Civil Engineer, initially working on projects in hydrology, hydraulics, structural design and geotechnical engineering. Over the past 4 years, he has been working mostly on coastal engineering projects involving numerical simulations on hydrodynamic and wave processes affecting coastal systems. Some of his projects include feasibility studies for pier structures for various sites in the Philippines, design of a lacustrine marina, design of breakwaters for beach protection in Cebu, and a detailed design review for a reclamation development.Beyond the scope of design, he consistently immerses himself in other aspects of project development such as construction, planning, project management, and other external factors.His current interests include port development, coastline monitoring and physical modeling of hydraulic and coastal environments.
