Engineering Manager of a Data Science group of three teams at Bolt: Geo, Rentals and Delivery. I have established these teams in the past, leading hiring, creating roadmaps in collaboration with stakeholders, onboarding and helping new members grow; and I am currently managing both managers and individual contributors.We are working on maps-related Data Science projects, such as predicting ETAs, modeling traffic, or improving the search experience.We are also working on the Rentals (scooters, e-bikes, carsharing) Data Science projects. Our work includes operational optimization tasks, like optimizing scooter deployment schedules, dynamic pricing, or using machine learning to keep our clients and cities safe, where we build solutions such as tandem riding detection using IoT data or smart parking solutions using computer vision.Our group also works on the Bolt Food Data Science projects, which include food preparation time estimation, forecasting demand for improving the marketplace dynamics or building recommender systems.

I succesfully built models used at scale in Bolt, which resulted improvements such as more accurate Ride Hailing and Delivery ETAs and optimised Scooters operations.

Researched for algorithmic market strategies: visualising and applying big data into trading strategies using various statistical methods and scientific tools. I used unsupervised learning methods to cluster the behaviour of various companies and create risk quantiles. I became a Superstar Global Advisor after only 2 months in the company, making me the youngest researcher within WorldQuant to reach this seniority degree in a particular algorithmic quantitative field.I used Python and in-house tools for analysing data and building the strategies; and C++ for writing data preprocessing components and custom operators.
