Health Care/Food & Beverage Sanitation Automation

• Integrate manufactured systems & subsystems that include mechanical, electrical, hydraulics & system software, into a fully functional system. Verify and validate system performance and System Quality per design specifications. • Perform light programming of controllers and safety modules, troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues for Materials Testing Systems used to perform durability testing & material characterization. Provide in-house training as well as Technical support to International FSE’s.• Work with Engineering and independently on new product hardware & software configuration, Data Analysis, functional testing and calibration. Develop process improvement, work instructions & work procedures.

• Perform system functional testing in the manufacturing environment to identify process alarms, faults, or failures and repair as required. Perform equipment installation, system start-up and hardware upgrades. • Install and configure system software, test, troubleshoot and repair system communications and system I/O components. • Assemble Staubli robotic systems, setup controllers and teach robot pick and place positions for material handling.• Work directly with Manufacturing Engineering on process improvement and development of work instructions used during the manufacturing process

•Troubleshoot and perform repairs and modifications on the mechanical, electrical, or software aspects of equipment.•Provide start-up, proper operating, preventative maintenance training, technical support and equipment updates.

Thermal TechnologiesField Service Engineer• Perform Manage & Supervise contractors on assembly, construction and installation of composite curing, metallization drying and firing furnace, bench top, lab and sterilization ovens. • Work directly with Engineering during New Product development to help identify designs and changes that improve quality and performance of systems and serviceability.• Perform Domestic and International equipment installation, Preventive maintenance, system calibration, light PLC programming, troubleshooting and repair, equipment commissioning and customer training.• Develop testing and maintenance procedures for US and International technical support teams.

• Install, repair and perform preventive maintenance on 3D Volumetric Interactive stereoscopic imaging workstations for use in neurosurgical procedures. Including network configuration and connectivity used for data retrieval.• Manage customer interface, including installation project scheduling and commissioning.• Develop and administer training programs, work instructions and operating procedures specific to USA operations for field service personnel and customers. • Liaison to Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing for product test and process improvement.

• Install, troubleshoot, repair or replace stepper motors, lead screw assemblies, input/output controllers, industrial and PC based computers, optic switches, pneumatics, belt drive assemblies, chain and sprocket assemblies, on 55+ complex 3-dimensional Rapid Prototyping systems valued at over 6.5 million dollars.• Install software upgrades, identify and document software related bugs, implement work around solutions and validate system performance.• Implement corrective actions and develop new processes not covered by existing procedures.• Cross-Functional team member contributing to new product development, develop test plans, hardware and software upgrade implementation, failure analysis and customer service related failures.
