 As a member of the SkyGrid software development management team, I oversee the front-end and back-end development and testing of our Small Unmanned Aircraft System (sUAS) software features. My primary responsibility is to ensure that the development and testing processes are carried out effectively and efficiently. As a “working” Dev and QA Verification manager, I perform and oversee the creation of test plans, test strategies, test cases, test automation scripts, and test suites for end-to-end manual and automated test execution, including defect management and defining QA coding standards. Manages a team of onshore and offshore software development and quality assurance engineers. Manages the authoring, maintenance, and performance of test automation frameworks from scratch on multiple application platforms, such as Mobile, Desktop, and Web, including scenario, user acceptance, and API testing. Provides meaningful reports that show improvements to the product in terms of faster development with minimum defects, quicker testing cycle results, increased performance and security, and overall customer satisfaction and user experience (UX).  As a sub-task of my role, I am responsible for the purchasing and payment of all software engineering tools, subscriptions, and equipment.

 Served as a senior-level quality assurance resource, charged with comprehending, analyzing, designing, executing, and testing results reporting for test harnesses that support systems engineering concepts, existing and new technologies, data models, application functionality, and development processes.  As part of a scrum team, I developed business cases and created test plans for multiple concurrent features. I worked with software developers and test analysts to create test data and tracked new and updated requirements to ensure they were addressed during testing.  I managed project time allocated to testing, ensuring it was utilized efficiently and effectively.  Additionally, I planned, organized, executed, and supported front and back-end testing, prepared, and communicated test reports during and following test execution, and assisted with test automation design, creation, maintenance, and reporting.
