I work on all applications for the company that involve AEC Technologies. Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Glue, C4R, APL, and more. Trimble, Engineering software, and add-ins including our own custom tools developed for Southland.My role revolves around analyzing workflows, training, supporting, and implementing new and existing technologies. I also manage the projects and teams around existing technology being updated or new technology being incorporated. I work directly with Autodesk to solve problems and for training.I work on the corporate team to ensure all of our divisions have what they need to succeed in BIM!

I work with end users and software developers to solve Tier 2 and 3 issues with BIM software.I generate technical articles to share with our Technical Support team to solve issues in the future. I assist in rolling out software to the entire company including cost impact, testing, webinars, and internal communications across thousands of employees. This includes setting up, editing, and maintaining a Sharepoint site and discussion board.

I teach Revit, Bluebeam, Navisworks, Sketchup - BIM. I am now also teaching Construction Management 1 and 2.We use the software to create models that follow a program, solve site logistics, create project phasing, and generate proposal material Additionally, students are given the basic software training to manage drawings, RFIs and generate QTO numbers.Students are introduced to BIM IPs and XPs and terminology in addition to legal issues in the BIM world.

For our marketing and proposal departments, I create renderings to sell our buildings, do schematic 4D presentations which illustrate our timeline, and will often complete site utilization plans in 3D (working on making some 4D).For our operations department, I organize our clash detection and 3D coordination process. I will also model any missing pieces to make this process work (i.e. if our electrical subcontractor cannot make a 3D model, I will convert his 2D files into 3D). Additionally, I will model construction mock-ups in order to see if an area of risk can be mitigated. I will also go to job sites and participate in subcontractor meetings to show them the next areas they will work on, what they will look like, and help show why the trades are installing in the orders they are.For our design-build department, I will help to run interference checks, and take any 2D drawings and make a 3D model. This helps us find any design flaws and reduce down time later in the process- in this industry, the longer it takes to find a problem, the longer it tends to take to solve and the more money it costs.I am the only one at my company who does what I do... and this means finding creative and time-saving methods to complete our projects on time.I love my work!

I help people apply for permitts, do renovations, extensions, or changes to single-family residences, and help people with their dream homes.I've taken sketch drawings and made them 3-D and checked for architectural issues and building code violations.

I was an intern at the DCOP and worked on a variety of projects with a variety of conditions.Lead Intern for the Chinatown revitalization project in which the H street corridor was a focus.
