I am an enthusiastic and committed person that excels at creatively and critically approaching and solving problems. I am also a true optimist in that I unconditionally look towards a better future and find positives in every setback I encounter. Additionally I am always eager to learn about my skills and growth opportunities and am continuously looking to broaden my knowledge. Growing up I have had the pleasure of seeing the world and truly experiencing differing cultures and ideas. From following kindergarten and primary school in the culture and diversity hub that is Singapore, to middle school in a suburban district of Lancaster County, PA, USA. In addition to an advanced knowledge of the English language, these experiences taught me that the world is diverse in many ways, including that there is an enriching diversity in the ways that people think.Interest and Curiosity concerning a multitude of domains has always been a defining factor of who I am. Perhaps the most important of those interests is my interest in the way that the human mind works. Not merely when it is alone, but in particular when the mind is in collaboration or in conflict with the minds of others. I am also a person that is committed to improving the structures and the situations of people around me. That commitment drove me to fill in important roles within student representation and activity organization in the previous years. This also gave me the chance to experience organizational structures and work hands-on in improving how these organizations work and improving the experiences and learning opportunities for the volunteers within these organizations. This was a defining part of my duty as the Vice-President of the faculty-bound Psychological Student Union.
