Proforo was founded in June 2020 by veterans of the education and marketing space. Our team has successfully founded and exited an innovative education company and marketed over $70MM in education product sales. Proforo’s mission is to rehabilitate today’s digital marketing strategy. Conventional thinking aims to trick users into sharing contact information and then pressure them into buying something.We believe that the best demand funnels over-deliver tangible value to prospective customers. At Proforo, we create and promote products and services that will help consumers navigate confusing markets and make better purchasing decisions. Founded Canada’s first and largest career accelerator with four classmates from The Richard Ivey School of Business with the vision of creating education products focused on outcomes that gave their customers an extremely high return on their investment.Built industry-leading educational offerings that filled Canada’s technology skills gap at a faster pace than traditional education alternatives. Created an operating model that was both profitable and cash-flow positive at inception.

Hired to conduct investment due-diligence and manage back-office operations as the only employee of the fund’s Managing Partner. Increased number of portfolio companies in the fund from one to six. Investment transaction history includes Medworxx (acquired), Granify, Dealer.com (acquired), Vena Solutions, 360insights, Method and follow-on investment in Nulogy.
