I am very pleased to get back into the Aviation Industry, in a flying role, where I 'excel'. Working a Seasonal Contract with 2Excel to use onboard aircraft equipment to gather various aerial imagery. A role to bring all my Aviation experience together to expand on experience for myself and to pass onto others.

Re-entering myself into the Rail Industry I trained as an OLEC 2 Linesman, for an Agency. The job involved driving many hours to access sites in Manchester, London, York and Birmingham. Once on site I was on track assisting the OLEC 3 Linesman to install or remove new/old Railway Powerlines of all different types.Towards the end of my time with the Agency I was trained up as an SRS (HGV Rail Plant) and Mobile Elevated Working Platform (MEWP) Operator to drive and operate the plant vehicles on track. Operating the basket into some very difficult tight spaces within the Powerline's structures high above the tracks. This job involved a lot of driving across England and working 12 hour shifts day and night in all types of weather.

Learning the complex rules and regulations of the railway and also learning in depth the Class 66 Locomotive. After ground training (Consisting of Rules, Various Railway topics and how to operate various wagon types) I went onto drive Class 66 and Class 60 Locomotives.Unfortunately during my Driver training I had some unexpected news within my family and this cut short the career I worked hard to gain and to pass the difficult exams. A genuine reason for bringing an end to my Train Driver Career that I'm more than happy to explain to people.

This includes decisions on runway conditions for various weather conditions and also the general condition of the runway integrity• Follow Mes for aircraft up to and above Code F (AN-225), inlcuding during challenging adverse weather below 350m visibility• Stand and Carousel Allocation for a busy flight schedule• Turnaround audits on inbound and outbound airlines• Safeguarding of aircraft and WIP areas• Bird Control to ensure the risk of bird strikes is at a minimum.• Security of all areas of the airfield, including critical areas• Escorting visitors and contractors• Policing the airfield and ensuring driver and passenger safety at all times• Issuing and checking airside vehicle permits• Dealing/assisting with unexpected events/emergencies• Co-ordination of airfield winter operations• Liaising with various departments to ensure timings are met and efficiency is maintained• Assisting with Habitat and Grass control• Following strict CAA procedures• Friction testing• Radio Telephony (RT) on all required areas of the airfield• Trained to drive a variation of vehicles (Tractor, Quad Bike, Scarab Road Sweeper etc)....this is not the full list but purely the main duties that are carried out.

During my time with the Forces I have gained a vast amount of experience, qualifications, determination, intelligence and generally an all round better person. As you can imagine I have spent a lot of time in different roles of my career so I have paragraphed each role in short for you to get a brief idea of what I have experienced and what I am also capable of doing for your company. My first part of my career was all trade training learning all the basics of a soldier and then moving on to gaining all my driving licenses up to C+E with my dangerous good license. I have also been trained as a Class 1 driver and Class 1 Groundcrewmen supervising up to 30 troops day and night, selecting secure landing sites for aircraft, supervising load rigging and checking their security. I spent time also working long hours at the world's busiest heliport at one stage managing my crew of up to 10 groundcrewmen and also the refuelling and movement of 30 multimillion £ aircraft. During this time I was also in an motor transport department working flat out to ensure all vehicles were servicable and up to a high standard. I was retrained and spent 2 years a Door Gunner and also as an Air-Borne Surveillance Operator (Wescam) on rotary aircraft. I then moved into Station Operations as a Manager looking after a whole military airfield including it's visitors, including VIPs. This time was very busy and every detail had to be overseen. During this role I was also appointed as the Landing Fees NCO to which I was in charge of a budget of £350,000. I also spent many month as the Flying Complaints NCO on top of these busy roles. This leads me onto my current role as a crewman for fixed wing aircraft, working alongside the pilot for navigation, creating map routes, using complex instruments, providing direct assistance and oversight to the pilot. This role is high profile and requires a lot of attention, quick thinking and high standards in every aspect of the role.
