I have extensive experience of microscopy and confocal microscopy. I have specialised knowledge of fluorescence microscopy, FRAP, FRET, image segmentation, stereo microscopy, co-localisation, deconvolution, materials microscopy, polarised light microscopy, DIC and c-DIC. I have worked as part of a software development team (developing 3D cell biology software) with responsibilities including authoring functional specification, QA, documentation, user training. I write Image J plugins (Java) and Macros in Zeiss ZEN software (Python).I write microscope apps as a hobby.
