Responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of products & solutions through their lifecycle, ensuring product profitability, success, value to the business and customers, and competitive advantage in the marketplace. Continually exploring, and initiating new product/solution opportunities, developing commercial plans to drive success, reviewing the performance of existing products, identifying, and mitigating risks or areas of underperformance through creative solution design. Gaining valuable customer and stakeholder feedback into their needs which will help to inform and promote products/solutions, ensuring the benefits and USPs of the portfolio are clearly recognised and communicated. Manage a team of Product Specialists to develop and innovate EAL's products and services, designing assessments methodologies for regulated qualifications, apprenticeships, Tech Levels and bespoke solutions that reflect up to date educational and technological workplace practices. Adhering to regulatory requirements while addressing the needs of employers and providers, ensuring the relevant skills, knowledge and behaviours are included within the training and learning of the engineers of the future

Liaise with external and Internal customers, develop and manage qualifications in line with regulatory requirements, taking on the role of lead for EAL/SEMTA group to work closely with employer groups (employers of all sizes, NFEC, GTA England, Providers, FE Colleges, BIS/SFA relationship managers, Professional Engineering Institutions) to develop apprenticeships that meet the needs of employers while ensuring deliverability and quality is maintained; develop qualifications to be used as mandatory elements within the on program training of new apprenticeship standards; engage with customer and stakeholders to provide effective and affordable products and services; utilise information obtained from Employer Led Skills Organisations and/or Sector Setting Bodies and user feedback, to innovate and develop products and services which enables EAL to offer “Fit for Purpose” products and services which are at the forefront of the market and provide EAL with unique selling points; promote EAL products and services and provide technical advice and support for sales activities across EAL to generate sales in adjacent markets and new services which exceed income targets; build effective relationships with stakeholders (e.g. Employer Led Skills Organisations and/or Sector Setting Bodies, centres and users) to increase the availability of EAL products and services; take the lead and manage staff and resources across a range of projects to ensure all outcomes and targets are met within the required time frames.

1992 to 2002 I was employed within the role of Manufacturing Staff, carrying out a range of manufacturing operation within a high volume automotive manufacturing environment.2002 to 2009 I was employed in the role as Production Zone Team Leader/Supervisor. I was responsible for the daily management and supervision of a Production Zone which included individual and team management management/supervision, application of continues improvement techniques, quality management/control, training and development of production zone staff, other daily duties to ensure the smooth running of a production zone within a high volume automotive manufacturing environment.
