I work as a student ambassador, which includes a large variety of different tasks. Including giving tours to interested high school students, with the goal of providing them with a more broad spectrum of information on the Speed School of Engineering here at the University of Louisville. I also work in office that acts as a maker space for students that reach out to use it, which is a part of our new office location this year. Besides these two, my position also offers many outreach opportunities that provide us with chances to show people the importance of engineering in our community.

I worked at Lowe's for a little over 6 months, and throughout my time learned many communication and physical skills. Including working with many customers and learning to communicate with them but also in an orderly fashion with my co-workers under stressful circumstances. I also learned the skills required to operate many different types of power equipment. Such as, forklift and electric pallet-jack certification, as well as saws and other small power tools that were required in my position.
