Hr Director/Payroll Coordinator
• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing and evaluating Human Resources and Payroll Functions.• Maintain personnel files in compliance with polices and procedure and applicable state and federal guidelines.• Job recruitment, background, license and reference checks.• Workman compensation reporting.• Ensures hiring and discharge procedures are appropriate and in compliance with policies and procedures and applicable state and federal guidelines• Coordinates and conducts new employee orientation. Explains personnel and payroll policies and procedures, regulations and other related requirements relevant to position and job functions.• Develops, implements and maintains a filing system for personnel files that meets the needs of the facility and complies with established policies and procedures.• Develops and maintains a good working rapport with inter-department personnel, as well as other departments within the facility, to assure that Human Resources and Payroll services and activities meet standards of the facility.• Assures that all personnel are informed of established human resources and payroll practices.• Performs data input (e.g. New hires, changes, terminations, missed time punches, PTO hours etc) into Kronos and payroll system, makes any necessary changes in the system and ensures all documentation for any data input is approved.• Completes and transmits payroll to payroll processing company in timely and accurate manner.• Maintains payroll files and assists in solving payroll problems as necessary.• Communicates and assists employees in enrolling in the health benefit programs.• Works with employees to complete required and documentation for FMLA and leaves of absences.
Hr Employee Relations Specialist
• Investigates and responds to employee complaints and grievances.• Assists legal with information for EEOC charges.• Prepares responses for unemployment claims.• Reviews all termination information for accuracy and completeness.• Assists in administering employee incentive programs, including: service awards, quarterly plaque, and special incentive programs.• Assists with compiling and distributing results from the company new hire survey and investigating exit surveys.• Assists with and/or provides back up to Workers’ Compensation Administration.• Provides guidance to operations on employee relations issues.• Kronos and Ultipro experience.
Hr Coordinator/With Generalist Responsibilities
• Oversee employee relations for call center of 650+ employees.• First point of contact for all who enter HR office; including payroll issues and STD/FMLA claims.• Respond to employee questions related to company guidelines.• Partner with recruiters on local recruiting/interviewing efforts.• Organize and executes annual Health and Benefits fairs for call center.• Proficiency in HRIS systems; including Oracle, PeopleSoft, and Cognos.• Attend unemployment hearings• Responsible for entering all new hire information and I-9 verifications.• Process all promotions for the call center.• Arrange travel for HR Director and HR Manager; balance all expense reports.• Process call center terminations and also run termination report for HR Manager.• Run weekly and monthly HRIS Cognos reports for Rochester and other call centers when needed.• Run and reviews bonus/merit reports at YE; including performance reports.• Assist in facilitation of new hire orientation; including benefits, company policies and guidelines.• Work on compliance investigations as well as internal investigations.• Prepare separation documents when an employee is removed from the business.
