Having been promoted to the Membership & External Partnership Manager position with EPMA, I have taken full control over the marketing strategy for the association, as well as exhibition management.The COVID-19 pandemic forced the association to adapt to provide association members with value for their fees. I diversified our usual seminar series and successfully implemented a Webinar replacement to promote the association in the face of travel restrictions.I supported work on a Virtual Congress to replace our annual Congress scheduled for Lisbon in 2020, and deployed a sponsorship package which was sold successfully to our members.

As the Marketing Assistant for EPMA, I am responsible for promoting the industry and EPMA members through social media and email campaigns, graphic design work (using Photoshop and InDesign) as well as domestic and international exhibition organisation, promotion and attendance. This requires adhering to strict association design guidelines, careful cost control whilst maximising industry exposure, thorough organisation of international exhibitions including logistics, and a practical knowledge of the technical aspects of Powder Metallurgy and its processes. As part of this role I also assist with the organisation and sales of the Euro PM2020 Exhibition stands at the annual EPMA Congress & Exhibition, as well as sourcing media partners, selling event advertising and sponsorships, and providing customer support to participants. I also assist with sales of EPMA memberships, seminar and training attendance, and search for participants in EU and industry specific projects.

My role at Enterprise encompasses all areas of maintenance for a fleet of over 850 vehicles, including MOT's, servicing, tail lift and PMI inspections, as well as reacting to breakdowns and arranging repairs. Through effective use of suitable agents vehicle downtime is minimised for customers, whilst ensuring the fleet is fully compliant and costs are minimised. I also provide reports of my maintenance and repair work to management to ensure full visibility of expenditure and output is possible. I ensure maintenance is carried out with effective utilisation of my branch's dedicated mobile engineer, and am responsible for creating and allocating their workload. Some of the national accounts I am responsible for at Enterprise include Belfor, John Lewis, Costain and Telent.

As the Transport Manager for Tanners I am responsible for the day to day routing, loading and maintenance of delivery vehicles, using transport routing and scheduling software. This involves the manipulation of data from an ERP system into a daily delivery schedule, with an emphasis on cost-efficient and reliable routing. I am also responsible for the administration of the fleet and upkeep of the legal records necessary for a HGV operator, as well as the recruitment, training and day-to-day management of drivers. In addition to these responsibilities, I am also involved in the acquisition and implementation of new IT solutions to enhance and optimise the operations of the business.
