• Accountable to the Director to alert her in the event of a crisis such as interpersonal conflict, withdrawal symptoms or any issue that may arise with one of the veterans

• Responsible for the development of the after school and summer programming for at risk youth and their families
• Led a team of life coaches to facilitate a program inclusive of essential basic life skills, entrepreneurship, and college/scholarship prep, in addition to physical and mental health.
• Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu was used to reinforce the empowerment, teamwork, discipline, and critical thinking skills that were developed during our youth’s tenure with Inspire to Hire.

Miami/Fort Lauderdale Area

• Co-Founded a group of military veteran performing artists to shed light on veteran social issues and promote post-traumatic growth.
• Developed, performed, and toured an original show entitled “Conscience Under Fire” that highlighted our personal experiences at war, the struggles of coming back home, and how our performing arts aided in our growth.
• Received state recognition and won the $150,000 James L. Knight Foundation Creative Arts Grant.

Miami/Fort Lauderdale Area

• Responsible for conducting classes for fitness, wellness, and youth Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu programs
• Developed a tailored program for at-risk youth that involved an emphasis on discipline, respect, and self-love.
• Conducted or supervised training sessions for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and fitness staff.

• Directly responsible for the training, discipline, and accountability of all Marines in a platoon of equal or lesser grade.
• Completed one successful deployment to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom
• Successfully Completed a 3 year special duty assignment that included the safe guard of classified material, internal and personnel security for American Embassies in West Africa and China.
