-Launched the first and only American History Film Festival in the United States with Ken Burns and Jake Boritt.-Led a team of 40+ staff and volunteers to successfully manage and execute a sold-out festival (4,000+ tickets), which generated $250,000 in gross revenue and more than $60,000 net of expenses.-Assembled and led a coalition of nonprofit and media partners that successfully promoted and staffed festival events. Partners included Gettysburg College, Adams County Historical Society, Gettysburg Foundation, American Battlefield Trust, WITF, Maryland Public Television, The Better Angels Society, and PBS.-Coordinated logistics and management for headliner guests, including Ken Burns, Martin Sheen, Sam Waterston, and others. -Garnered national media attention for the festival, including a story on the front page of the Washington Post's Metro Section.

-Managed nonprofit museum and history center (29,000 square feet) with staff of 14 and more than 60 volunteers.-Launched (2020) and completed (2023) a $12 million capital campaign to fund $10.7 million in construction/outfitting of Adams County Historical Society's headquarters, which includes Beyond the Battle Museum, the Battlefield Overlook Event Center, and a state-of-the-art archives and reading room housing more than one million historic items. -Led and managed development efforts for the Society’s capital campaign, including major gifts ($500k+), grants, appeals, and a $2.8 million RACP grant.-Expanded staff size from 4 to 12 and grew operating budget from $190,000 to more than $1 million.-Developed and tracked budget for capital campaign and start-up operations at new facility, resulting in more than $250,000 operating profit in 2023 and a debt-free capital campaign.-Led museum design and fabrication process with nationally recognized firms HealyKohler Design and 1220 Exhibits.Beyond the Battle Museum named “Best New Museum in the United States” by USA Today, hosting more than 40,000 visitors from all 50 states in its inaugural year.-Oversaw brand development and growth that resulted in more than 50,000 new social media followers and millions of video views, making ACHS one of the most followed historical societies in the nation.-Oversaw development of new website and transition to a new CRM database-Developed strong partnerships with underrepresented groups, including Gettysburg Black History Museum, Lincoln Cemetery Project Association, and the Hispanic community.-Oversaw the creation and development of a new leadership program-Hosted major events with notable public figures including Ken Burns, Martin Sheen, Stephen Lang, Sam Waterston, Tom Berenger, Harold Holzer, Jeff Shaara, Susan Eisenhower, and PA Governor Tom Wolf.-Garnered national media attention from USA Today, The Washington Post, National Geographic, and The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Awarded funding from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation to create an innovative, map-driven database of Gettysburg College's structural history. The map allows users to scroll through time and explore the development of campus from the 1830s through the present.

In 2013 I completed a 120-page book, first published by Ten Roads LLC, entitled "Beyond the Run: The Emanuel Harmon Farm at Gettysburg." The book tells the true story of a family caught in the Battle of Gettysburg and the commercialization of their property following the Civil War upon the discovery of a medicinal spring.
