Led and mentored junior engineers and technicians. • Developed cutting edge LED lighting systems from concept to launch including: Cree RSW, LN4, UR, ZR, VG, T8, and MR16 product lines.• Built first CCT adjustable Cree fixtures and created algorithms for color change currently used in production for CCT adjustable CR Series fixtures.• Developed physics-based models for luminaire performance prediction in both Excel and MATLAB to shorten the prototyping phase and speed time to market.• Effectively evaluated color mixing and pixilation in LED luminaires by developing specialized test methods including MATLAB analysis of image data.• Improved fixture designs and reduced factory downtime by utilizing Process Control Statistics (Cp, Cpk etc.).• Optimized fixture designs by applying DOE techniques.• Co-inventor on 2 patents and 4 patent applications.
