As a member of the Client Services team at Toll Brothers I supported employees at the corporate office and sales associates across the country. I fielded support calls regarding every facet of the corporation. Supporting such a large organization exposed me to a wide variety of systems. This meant that I had to learn to support legacy and proprietary applications in addition to newer systems. I had to triage incoming support calls, escalate certain work orders to specialists and see other work orders through to completion when possible.

While working at QuantumClean I managed Windows workstations and servers at remote sites across the country. I also worked with their WatchGuard firewalls which were used at each site as a hardware VPN client to connect to the corporate office.

Greater Philadelphia Area

While working at Nayatek I supported a team of developers who were working on a software appliance that handles e-mail archiving and retention policies. I managed elements of the test environment and provided support to customers who were testing the product in their production environment. I was responsible for Linux and windows servers, Microsoft Exchange VMs and a Dell MD3000i SAN array.

At BrickSimple I supported workstations and servers for the software development team. Working with a team like this consistently provided new and interesting challenges. My responsibilities included maintaining the Apache Tomcat and MySQL instances as well as various Windows and Linux servers. I also learned basic Microsoft Exchange administration on the job. This was my first paid position in the industry and it taught me so much. In retrospect it really was an honor to work with such a brilliant team.
