Lancaster Rec stands as a unique non-profit partnership forged among the School District of Lancaster, the City of Lancaster, and Lancaster Township within the Parks and Rec industry.As lead of strategic financial growth, responsible for fostering collaborative ties and sourcing support from local businesses and national corporations. Duties include spearheading $250k-$500k+ annual fundraising efforts and writing grant proposals aligned with our comprehensive five-year strategic blueprint. As department head, responsible for curating targeted campaigns and overseeing content creation, leveraging a reach that extends to 35,000 households. This role also encompasses donor engagement, as well as public relations.Additionally, this position is tasked with championing fundraising initiatives for the newly-established Lancaster Rec Foundation. This innovative scholarship allocates more than $50,000 annually to provide youth athletic scholarships for families with a demonstrated financial need. Moreover, the Foundation is leading the development of a new technology and e-sports center, dubbed RecTec. This center will cater to community youth, immigrants, refugees, and seniors, offering them opportunities to cultivate new skills, unearth their talents, chart career paths, and explore the world virtually.

Lancaster Young Professionals is a non-profit organization that connects and supports Lancaster's talented young workforce to each other, as well as the business community, through social, educational and volunteer opportunities.As President, I was responsible for the strategic direction and financial growth. During my tenure, our all-volunteer team was able to increase membership join rates (10x), rebrand the organization as a key community resource and execute more than 250 unique events over ten years, including a city-wide home tour for young professionals and an annual charity gala spotlighting two community influencers on the rise.
