At the end of my employment I was able to hold tolerances of +/-0.001 on a manual boring Mill and a Manual Lathe. This gave me the experience on how to set up a job, where the clamps would go, which tools to use and what machining process would allow me to complete the task in a timely manor. Unfortunately the Covid pandemic caused job loss across all industries and the workplace I was employed at could no longer keep me on due to lack of work.
