I have had a lot of call centre experience which has given me a broad range of skills - most of which are transferrable. I have developed as a person and learned how to adapt quickly. I feel that I need a change of direction and experience to gain a more diverse and well rounded set of skills and experience. While at Sky I have received 5 internal awards for outstanding customer service given. My Team was also recognised as a high performing/quality team and we were invited to an internal recognition ceremony/event to thank us for a job well done.Since July, I transferred into a Customer Service role to widen my skill set and experience. I now also am adding TV Technical and billing to my skills and experience. I troubleshoot Set top bos issues and give the customer a bespoke solution to the problem before they have to wait for an engineer to resolve their issue. I also advise customers on their billing. It can be a little complicated, but I usually find a way to help, or transfer to ather department for resolution. Generally though I take responsability for my customers issues and soltions.I love doing well when I do a job. Success is important to me as is the standards and integrity by which I do my work. Give me a chance and you will be glad you did. Any other information relevant to your interest in me can be found within my profile..

I have undertaken various training courses relevant to my role at Sky and currently doing the Aspire course and hope to gain that certificate in the not too distant future. I have a great many transferable skills and am looking to find a different role to add to my experience and skill set. I have won internal accolades for outstanding customer service towards my customers, as I go the extra mile where needed. I am the man the come to when they need a proper and full resolution. Someone who will get the job done or will find someone else who can do what I can't. I have done a number of internal e-learning courses over the last 4 years, some of which have transferable skills in them. I started in Sky in one role and have changed roles a few times as Sky required. Sky is an ever changing and evolving company so there are always changes going on, alongside new product and technology innovations. I keep up with those changes and adapt to them.. I have taken part in a think tank there and sharing best practice, strategy, knowledge, competitor intelligence, product knowledge and systems knowledge at Sky. One of the most important things I share is, a little bit of me. My sense of humour, my life & background. we engage in a few social activities, including recognition events internally and social events - just for the fun of it. We often have themed days, which I enjoy.I am now looking for a new challenge and possibly a different direction for my career. If you want the best? This will give me a new skill set including some of the technical skills within Sky needed to help our customers. It involves billing in more depth along with selling and television technical assistance with Sky boxes. I can see that I am already bringing a lot to table with my new team who are new starts. I am giving hem the benefit of my skills and experiences and that, I think is helping to take away the fear of the unknown for them. I also have responsibility for understanding customer's bills and explaining that clearly to them. This is done in a helpful and professional way and often defuses an angry and tense situation because they haven't understood their billing and feel aggrieved and afraid. Billing isn't always as straight forward as it sounds and I often feel like Sherlock Holmes trying to get to the bottom of a mystery - and I do !! I am using this opportunity to further develop my skill set and progress either further in the business or explore future opportunities. I am keeping an open mind on all my options. Show less -
