Andrew specializes in strategy, campaign management, and leadership recruitment for advocacy and political organizations, labor unions, and government agencies.Andrew directed the 2012 and 2016 Democratic National Convention Platform Committee, including leading the successful negotiation between the Clinton and Sanders campaigns in 2016. In 2009-2010, he was a key liaison for the White House and Senate Democrats with the advocacy community in passing the Affordable Care Act. Andrew founded and served as President of Wal-Mart Watch, a new model of advocacy that challenged the world’s largest business to be a better corporate citizen. Andrew held a series of leadership roles at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, including serving as Executive Director and Political Director. As Principal of Grossman Solutions, Andrew developed the firm’s innovative, in-person approach to its work with Access Health CT, the Connecticut insurance exchange. He also created and leads its unique executive search and recruitment practice. He has interviewed hundreds of client stakeholders and job applicants over the last twelve years.
