Business Analyst
CurrentAs a business analyst for the Insurance Operations department my primary role is to maintain and enhance an annuity order entry system and workflows in order to elevate the financial professional experience as they serve their clients. I collaborate with internal departments, financial professionals, insurance carriers, and an annuity order entry vendor to understand what the business needs are and then dive into the details of how to accomplish those needs. This includes understanding how different software systems work independently and have downstream impacts. I gather and document project requirements, formulate solutions, and implement and test software changes to the order entry system. I support internal processing teams with system troubleshooting which often includes collaborating with the third parties involved with the order entry system. I create job-aids, procedure documents, provide live demonstrations for new system functionality, and complete training sessions for new team members.
