I am a steadfast business owner, having experienced the many highs & lows of business, I pride myself on authenticity and the attainment of tangible business results.With my north Queensland background, my early career was as a trade qualified marine mechanic. I have worked in workshops in small Queensland towns, maintained marine fleets in the tropical islands of North Queensland, through to building superyachts in Europe. My trade provided me with the opportunity to travel and exposure to a wide range of demographics. After meeting my English wife (Vickie Johnson) in the tropical north in 2001, together we travelled the world and after living in the UK for a few years, we moved to Australia in 2004 where we commenced our business and investment education. While managing marine workshops, I attained my Real Estate license and we commenced our property development portfolio; completing land subdivisions, duplex / unit developments and increasing our real estate acquisitions.During the late 2000’s, there were some very steep learnings from owning a multi-million-dollar property portfolio, while navigating the GFC & raising two small children. While we experienced some extremely hard times, we also received some of the most valuable business lessons to date.2010 saw inception of our two businesses i) The O3Network: comprising of an online nationwide network of bookable boardrooms, meeting rooms & office spaces & ii) The O3 Business Hub consisting of community minded serviced offices. In 2015 we joined the renowned ‘Entrepreneurial Business School’ and under the direction of the global award-winning business coach Bruce Campbell, we formed a Board of Directors and converted The O3 Network, into ‘SpaceFinder: Australia’s largest training space provider’. From there SpaceFinder has established itself as the #1 agency for the training industry, specialising in 9b compliant training space and has fast become a household name for Australian educational space sharing.Today we work with thousands of training organisations, collaborating on prime CBD educational spaces and creating win/win arrangements between venue hosts & booking clients. We are known across the real estate & educational sectors for our effective business solution, and for maximising real estate with tangible financial results.While the majority of our business is split between Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane CBD locations, we manage the balance of our business from sunny Queensland, enjoying our acreage lifestyle while raising our three sons.
