Providing Training, Capability, Learning and Development solutions to Military, Government and Commercial customers. My ability to assimilate information, build rapport and communicate well has enabled me to quickly provide value, in a compressed timeframe, across various roles. Entering management consulting from a military background, I have found the transition particularly comfortable. As part of Nexus Training Solutions, I delivered learning and development solutions as part of the Royal Australian Airforce’s Workforce Transformation. I was responsible for providing positive transformational solutions and change for Airforce’s Security Forces. This was achieved by identifying the gap against current training and future requirements, then identifying needs that were first; fit for purpose and second; would meet current and future training requirements. In identifying positive requirements, we developed meaningful and practical training needs that met the significant changes that have occurred in the strategic, policy, technology, and operating environments.

As a member of Synergy’s Business Process Management (BPM) delivery team. I led and have been a part of various multi-disciplinary teams within Vice Chief of Defence Force (VCDF) Group, the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG), and at Chief Information Officer Group (CIOG).As a part of the Investment Management Portfolio Branch, VCDF Group, I was responsible for recreating a representation of how the Australian Defence Force develops capability. This was achieved with a mix of Policy, Business Process and Learning and Development solutions. I was able to work as part of a small team to develop the One Defence Capability System (ODCS), a Business Process Management solution embodied through a Business Management System (BMS). This BMS provided Defence with a positive customer experience, access to all relevant and current digitised policy and easy access to a Learning and Development experience that prepared Defences capability development workforce for this challenge.I led the development of process models and other key content that aligned with the One Defence Capability System (ODCS) through effective analysis and stakeholder engagement to elicit business requirements, customer experience, which provided access to all relevant and current digitised policy and easy access to a Learning and Development experience that prepared Defences capability workforce for this challenge. I also led and was responsible for enabling the design, delivery, and implementation of the Defence Integrated Business Support System (IBSS) curriculum and self-paced training package for user and Holocentric Modeler 8 training across the Defence community. I assisted in the development and implementation of training for the adoption of the Manpower Analysis and Planning Software (MAPS), to monitor and manage supply and demand of human resource across Defence projects as a part of Corporate Performance Function in CASG.

This required effective analysis and stakeholder engagement to elicit business requirements, verify design, focused on a collaborative and outcomes focused approach with a mindset to drive positive change and solutions in pursuit of business improvement and change.I also employed an agile approach which aligns with best practice and continuous improvement opportunities to deliver solutions for Government. I have experience in capturing business processes and identifying areas for improvement. I have been instrumental in the establishment of their Business Process Management (BPM) delivery capability and have developed an understanding of the architecture, frameworks, governance, and standards applied in Defence. I did this through the successful completion of process models in the CASG BMS with a focus on standardisation and positive change reflecting Program Management Function, CASG’s workflow encapsulating their capability development processes in the CLC.
