• Work as a team player dedicated to excellence in safety, protecting the environment and maintaining equipment reliability in a sour oil and gas field.• Maintaining oilfield and plant control equipment (pneumatic and electronic), performing preventative maintenance on gas detection, metering, controls and air driers related to sour gas plants, oil batteries, oil satellites, compressor stations and gas wells. • Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, calibrate, install and commission controllers, transmitters (Rosemount, Endress + Hauser, Honeywell, etc...), switches, ABB SCADA, Barton Scanners, Gas Chromatographs, H2S Analyzers, valves and actuators of all types.• Ensure all equipment is maintained and documented for reliability requirements and in compliance with all codes, regulations and policies. • Assist in the development of calibration procedures for site-specific instruments.
