Process Excellence Engineering Intern
CurrentMy 6 month engineering internship at Schreiber Foods, Richland Center Wi, has been packed full of experience. Watching the full yogurt process from milk to pallet has been an extremely enriching experience. Schreiber and the Richland center team have been invaluable by providing me with a valuable action pact first few weeks where I’ve been given the chance to participate in design & safety meetings, traveled for FAT’s and Company Sponsored Classes. I have been able to work with equipment I learned about in school, and directly apply my education to my work making it feel meaningful. My primary project is working on adding a new room of fermentation tanks along with auxiliary rooms for sanitation, filtration, and power. I came into this internship just past the design phase, but with this project I’ve been introduced to other disciplines such as Civil & Structural engineering, along with HVAC codes and instillation, Electrical work, plumbing & Piping. It will be invaluable to be here for 6 months allowing me to watch the projects I am working on from start to finish.
