Mission and Organization Description:Mission: The Cowles Center is a catalyst for the creation, performance, education and celebration of dance and the performing arts.The Cowles Center for Dance & the Performing Arts is the Twin Cities’ newest arts center and the flagship for dance in Minnesota. Centrally located in downtown Minneapolis, The Cowles Center includes the newly refurbished 500-seat Goodale Theater; the former Hennepin Center for the Arts, home to 20 leading dance and performing arts organizations; the state-of-the-art Target Education Studio, housing The Cowles Center’s distance learning program; and the new U.S. Bank Atrium. Fun, wild, anything-is-possible theater is our passion. As a bar / restaurant / performance space in Lowertown St. Paul, Bedlam Lowertown is one of Lowertown's premiere downtown venues for DIY and cutting edge performance. Named by the City Pages Best of 2015 "Best Artsy Hangout Scene" for it's first year of operation.Role:Joined as office manager, and quickly became a part of Bedlam's management team, managing financial partnerships, construction, and venue operations. Mission and Organization Description:The mission of Creative Action is to spark and support the academic, social and emotional development of young people.Through interactive classroom performances, after school arts residencies and community-based programs, Creative Action’s team of professional Teaching Artists inspire youth to be creative artists, courageous allies, critical thinkers, and confident leaders in their community.Role:Teaching artist working with students in Creative Action partner schools across Austin, TX.Selected Experience:◦ Developed curriculum and taught high school and middle school theater workshops, from single sessions to semester long engagements - topics included: •Creative Collaboration •Playwriting •Group Writing Process •Performance◦ Developed curriculum and taught elementary after-school semester-long creative courses - courses included: •Acting and Play Making •Hip-Hop Music and Lyric Writing •Filmmaking◦ For many of the courses above, students performed culminating performances at parent showcases, school functions, and youth festivals

I taught Intro to Acting for the Theatre Arts department.I also mentored undergraduate sound design students.

For much of 2007 I worked with Jon Leiseth on creating a show around this question: How do we connect (or not) in today's technological world? The result was dis/connect.I worked as co-creater and sound designer, composing soundscapes for the performance.I taught a Qlab workshop and a Sound Design Concepts workshop.Residency in April 2008.

I developed a devised performance piece with our professional ensemble at Fairfield. It was called RAVENOUS - conceived by Jon Leiseth, it took a look at the 6 wives of Henry VIII.I worked as a co-creator, actor, and sound designer.I taught workshops in both devising and sound design during the residency.

I taught acting and collaboration workshops at Eden Prairie High school.

I worked with the Theater Department as a guest sound artist for their production of The Dispute. I worked to compose material with the actors in the rehearsal room.
