Created a Poisson probability system to prioritise high-demand stock returned by customers. The business needed this stock back on shelves quickly. I analysed, designed, tested, and implemented the solution which involved Cobol, DB2, Natural, Adabas, VSAM, and flat file changes across both on-line and batch systems.Implemented a standardised method to TopUp goods in warehouses. Next are in the process of opening several new warehouses, and the code I specified, built, tested, and released initially worked in the first two. After a minor redesign necessitated by additional requirements from the audit team, it was flexible enough to support a third.Enhanced a system to identify returned stock without barcodes.
