Implement a data-driven approach to decision-making, optimizing team performance and resource allocation.Work in fast paced environment, helping multiple product channels get to production. This includes (not limited to) updates to the home screen for the core product, Great Places to Work hub and a re-imaging to the scheduling module in WFM.Act in Scrum Master role, ensuring sprint goals are met. (PI planning, etc)Mentored and guided multiple interns/engineers, fostering their professional growth and development with and providing personalized coaching and guidance, nurturing their skills and expertise. Many of the interns I've mentored have advanced to senior-level positions. Create several platform level solutions, product teams use during their development. In particular, worked with the brand team to release a centralized brand assets system, deployed to Google Cloud, making all icons and illustrations available for widespread consumption. Also created in-house code editor and sharing tool, containerized using Docker and deployed via Kubernetes.

Served as both principal engineer and team lead, empowering the engineering team and boosting their overall level. Conducted one on one coaching sessions with the engineering team. This effort included creating a visual audit of the major screens within multiple product areas in order to normalize the UI experience. (button placement, typography usage, identifying duplicate metaphors and patterns, etc) Conducted research sessions with designers within the org to understand their needs as we worked towards creating a design system for the product. Took inventory of the many stylesheets used in the legacy products and organized them for reusability. Learned about various UX techniques and methodologies including Gestalt principles, eye tracking and system thinking.

I was a senior level engineer on the team responsible for producing the first mobile app for Ultimate Software. On this team I was responsible for many key features such as displaying pay statements in PDF format and implementing important workflow screens. In creating these workflow screens, I created many reusable UI components used throughout the mobile application. I also implemented an asynchronous push notification system, currently used today to send push notifications to mobile app users. This system is based on a RabbitMQ queue and uses a producer/consumer architecture for maximum scalability.
