Administrative AssistantSt. Michael'S Hospital Jun 2008 - Dec 2013- Manage practice plan budget in excess of $7.5 million comprised of clinical/academic funding, contributions from the ED AFA, discretionary academic trust, AHSC AFP, Hospital On-Call Coverage, OHIP shadow billing, and pay-for-results initiatives.- Manage operations in accordance with the emergency physicians’ practice plan. The plan is comprised of 26 full-time and 11 part-time academic emergency medicine physicians.- Prepare quarterly reports for delivery of Canadian Triage & Acuity Scale and hours of coverage data to the MOH as well as performance data for presentation at monthly practice plan meetings.- Project manage the annual physician re-appointment and off-cycle physician credentialing processes.- Change management in respect of practice plan billing operations, including the eventual transition of two positions to an outsourced third party.- Manage ongoing review of workload and redeployment of resources, where necessary.- Responsible for administrative functions supporting the Chief & Deputy Chief including: multi-site scheduling, travel arrangements, document preparation, interpreting practice plan policy, and ensuring policy compliance among the physician group. -
