• Responsible for training, mentoring, and coaching employees. • Manages associate performance and ensures adequate department coverage through influencing scheduling. • Oversees daily activities of hourly associates on the sales floor, front end, freight, delivery or stocking departments• Conducts activities appropriate for specific department including ensuring merchandise is stocked, tracking and reporting relevant metrics, and monitoring project activity. • Maintains a safe and secure work environment by conducting daily safety reviews, noting hazards, keeping store areas clean and organized, securing doors and gates, and monitoring for potential theft or security risks. • Provides superior customer service by assisting customers in locating, selecting, demonstrating, and loading merchandise.

• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.• Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.

• Conduct weekly store visits ensuring consistent execution of Lowe’s visual (Plant-O-Gram compliance) and merchandising standards in an effort to maximize sales opportunities. • Interview, hire, train, manage, and discipline merchandisers. • Monitor and maintain scheduled hours for each Merchandiser and Lowe’s location to ensure the forecasted hours provided by the Area Manager are met on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. • Collect, complete, maintain, and communicate all administrative paperwork, reports and surveys requested by the Area Manager, Plant Essentials’ Corporate Office, or Lowe’s personnel in a timely and accurate manner.
