About Andrew Murdock

It has been a privilege to spend my career working with and on behalf of people who are blind and partially sighted. I am grateful to all those families and individuals who have let me share aspects of their lives and taught me so much. I am passionate about the independence, equality and social inclusion of people who are blind and partially sighted to become active, participating members of our society.A resourceful manager who embraces change and proactively seeks out new and innovative challenges. Provides strong leadership and strategic advice to team members,colleagues and a large number of external committees and working groups. An experienced practitioner in the development and delivery of new initiatives, services and campaigns through positive engagement and partnership working.Someone who enjoys their work but remains mindful as to why they are doing this job!There is no authority but yourself!
