Be Pro Be Proud is a focused effort designed to create and generate student, parent and educator interest in technical professions within the construction, manufacturing, transportation and utility industries by presenting them as the high-tech, high-wage career paths they are.This effort began in 2013 in direct response to the inadequately addressed pronouncements of many of the State’s businesses: our workforce shortage is real, it is significant, and it is intensifying. At a time when employee responsibilities, requisite skill sets and income opportunities are on the rise, student interest remains low due in large part to misinformation – or no information – about realistic short- and long-term opportunities within these sectors. The goal of Be Pro Be Proud is to change how individuals of all ages think about existing – and essential – job opportunities within these sectors and engage them in becoming part of the solution. It is a model that can be – and is being – replicated across the United States.

Represent the positions of the State Chamber and AIA on issues related to Arkansas’ business climate before various governmental entities including the state legislature, its committees and related bodies; state agencies, committees and boards.Further, responsible for assisting in the development of legislative strategies and developing/facilitating campaigns to enlist support – both inside and outside government – for the legislative goals of the two organizations.

The Commission consists of seven Arkansans appointed by the governor to seven-year terms. An eighth, non-voting, member sits as Chair of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville’s Department of Biology. It is the sole responsibility of the Commission to oversee the agency’s function as a wildlife management entity.

Assist with drafting and amending rules established by the Arkansas Oil and GasCommission for the regulation of oil and gas operators in Arkansas; prosecuteviolators of AOGC General Rules before the Commission; litigate law suits on behalfof and against the Commission before the State and Federal courts.

Interim Office Manager; oversaw initial campaign office set‐up and operations;financial records and databases; coordination and preparation of logistics, materials,and field staff‐ and supporter‐interactions for all candidate appearances.

Liaison to officials and constituents in 22 Northeast and Southwest Counties; initiated,organized, advanced and implemented all events the Attorney General attended inthese areas; worked with Chief of Staff and other members of the staff in creating,coordinating and executing multiple statewide projects.
