Helping agency owners, coaches and consultants gain more clients and grow their business

• Between studying and travelling I worked both full time and bank for an Ofsted registered children’s home offering 52-week care and education for boys and girls aged 6 -18 yrs.• Worked proactively within the team to build positive relationships with parents, social workers, agencies and other professionals to help promote the ethos of care consistent with the culture at Hillcrest.• Provided care to children with special educational, emotional and behavioural difficulties.• Acted as a role model by building positive relationships with the children through my own personal hobbies such as Football, Swimming and Travelling.• Developed skills in resilience, personal boundaries, and confidence through planning and structuring daily activities to best suit the needs of the children and the home.• Contributed to the maintenance of a positive, safe and homely environment by following the structure of the house, cooking dinner at a set time, taking children to appointments and supporting in homework.• Implemented, monitored and recorded progress of individual children to required timescales. • Honed verbal and written communication skills to successfully communicate on a variety of levels with many different types of people.• Developed knowledge of children through reading case notes and strategies to help work within a reflective and therapeutic framework.• Undertook training including de-escalating and diversionary strategies, restraints, medicine, first aid, food and hygiene and fire safety.

• Developed a jointly owned e-newsletter business within OX7 area to help local business reach customers in a cost effective, environmentally friendly, targeted and measureable way. • Undertook market research to understand the need for an e-advertiser within Chipping Norton and gauged interest from potential customers. • Briefed agency to design brand identity to include website and Easy Advertiser email template. • Purchased email database and set up data capture form on our website to start develop an owned database.• Used telesales, face to face meetings and refer a friend initiatives to build the first ever edition of easy advertiser.• The first edition included 60 local businesses and was delivered to 10,000 email addresses.• Monitored and reported back to customers on key metrics such as open rate and click though rate vs. average for Easy Advertiser.• In total we ran 10 editions of Easy Advertiser before deciding to end the business due to low levels of Return on Investment.• Running my own business developed many skills including, project management, customer relationship building, e-marketing, telesales and written communication.
