Mr. Ratliff is certified Law Enforcement and Peace Officer since 2009. During his law enforcement career he has focused on Community Policing, Active Shooter, Defensive Tactics, Situational Awareness, and Officer Safety. He has helped with implementing an Active Shooter Program for Otterbein University where he was an instructor with the Police Department. He taught Active Shooter classes for the general public and for officers within his department. With an extensive background in fighting sports, Officer Ratliff wanted to pass his knowledge on. So, he has become an instructor for self-defense and holds small community classes where he teaches the basics. After being involved in a tragic OIS in Westerville, Mr. Ratliff felt it was time for him to start to move out of fulltime LE. In 2023, Mr. Ratliff started his company Crusader Security and Protection Services, LLC. He is a certified Private Investigator and Security Guard by Ohio Department of Public Safety. Mr. Ratliff is dedicated to protecting his community and serving his clients needs. In addition to his passion to serve and protect his community, Mr. Ratliff does not want to provide his clients with just a warm body, he wants to provide proper security for clients with current or past Military and Law Enforcement members, below are additional capabilities the company provides.
