Reporting to the GEP Program Director and also reporting monthly to the GEP Finance Steering Committee, this role encompassed: • Lead role in definition of the implementation roadmap, scoping & prioritisation with senior executive stakeholders • Accountability for project planning, scheduling, cutover strategy and deployment strategy• Direct involvement in partner / system integrator (SI) engagement, including facilitation of vendor selection as well as drafting and reviewing many project SOWs (Statements of Work) • Assisting to set up the initial project governance and methodology framework• Program status reporting including, scope, resourcing, risks, issues and budget• Change Request management• Dependency managementDirect reports to Andrew included seven Project Initiative Leads, each accountable for the team workplans and schedules for the respective projects in the Finance program of work.

This short team engagement on the Telstra IntegralPLUS Program was in a strategic and advisory capacity to assist the Finance, Projects and Procurement streams with complex solution design issue resolution and planning of both the deployment approach and conversion/cutover strategy. This objective of this role was to ensure integration and improve collaboration between the various Workstreams, and ensure alignment with the overall Solution Architecture and program vision.Key deliverables included:• Finance Integration and Conversion Strategy• Finance Solution Design Review

Andrew worked as the Finance Workstream Lead for over two years on Newcrest’s SAP ECC Release 2 project (“NESS Program”). This workstream leadership included combined IT and Business leadership. While leading the finance team’s system migration of several businesses onto SAP, Andrew also project managed (full life-cycle) a related project to upgrade the Hyperion system (HFM) and integrate that Reporting and Planning solution with the existing SAP ECC solution.

Andrew worked on the Myer “myPOS” project from the commencement of Design phase through to the Post-Go-Live Support. During this time Andrew fulfilled various leadership roles as the project required, including Team Leadership (Process Lead, Master Data Team Lead and Test Lead) through to post Go-Live SAP Application Support Manager, responsible for managing a team of 24 support analysts to deliver 24 hr system support for all 68 Myers stores nationally. During the project, Andrew also played a key role leading the solution design of the financial integration of the SAP EPOS software with the SAP ERP (4.6c) Financials system (back-end) previously implemented by CML.

Finance Leadership role on Project "ONE" for National Foods / Lion Nathan (Yoplait, Berri, Pura, Rev, BigM...etc).Major multi-county implementation of SAP ECC6, merging over 25 instances of 3 separate ERPs onto one SAP platform. Implementation of SAP “New GL” with Balance Profit Centres and Segments.
